Stories Behind the Shop: My Journey

I love the idea of adding a blog to this site. It will allow me to chat about real stuff, like the ins and outs of being a small business owner, navigating business ownership as a woman (wife and mother), the challenges, the successes, and more! I don't know what shape this blog will take. Heck, maybe no one will ever even read it, but I do know that if you are reading this and I have not posted more, it is for a reason.

As of the time of this post, I work for a church two days a week, run the shop four days a week, and am in college full-time online. Additionally, as I mentioned, I am married and have two kids. One is a senior and will be heading off to college herself soon. Why does any of that matter? Well, that means I am pretty busy right now. I will finish classes at the end of this school year (May/June), and I hope to hire an employee within the next year. The combination of those things will free up quite a bit of my time, allowing me to spend more time on content creation, etc.

Please consider joining me on this journey that started as a far-off dream. I am excited to see where all of this will go, and I hope to see all of you there.
